The Game of Thrones actress made it very clear that she is not interested in criticism regarding her makeup or rather the lack of it! Lena Headey took to her Instagram page earlier today to post the screenshot of a comment she received from someone that encouraged her to wear makeup when she is in front of a camera.
‘Do not record yourself without makeup again please,’ the rude user wrote, referring to a clip Lena posted not too long ago in which she was just casually promoting her new movie, Fighting with My Family.
In response, the actress did not hold anything back since she even swore at the person for their useless opinion.
That being said, in the caption, she wrote that ‘I shall continue to not wear makeup,’ and told the commenter to ‘Go f**k yourself.’
Soon enough, The Game of Thrones star received a lot of support from fellow actresses who have been through similar situations before.
Carice van Houten, Lena’s co-star, said that ‘I get that too. F**K THAT.’
Gwendoline Christie, also a co-star on Game of Thrones showed her support as well, leaving a number of heart emojis in the comment section.’
Ever Carradine from The Handmaids Tale’s defended and praised Headey, writing: ‘F**k that noise. You’re perfect.’ Preach!
After all, such criticism is so weird! Women, and especially those in the limelight receive a lot of hate for wearing makeup and supposedly promoting unrealistic standards in the first place.
